Who is our young people's service for?
Therapy is available for young people aged 13 to 25 years. We offer therapy on issues such as parental separation/divorce, relationships, anxiety, sadness, self-esteem, self-confidence, bullying, school, sexuality, work issues, eating disorders, self-harm, abuse, loss and many other concerns that affect young people in today’s society.
We also offer therapy to the parents/carers of children attending the service, although we do not offer parenting advice we are able to listen and offer support in a time of need.
What is therapy?
Sometimes talking to our friends or family is not enough, especially if some of our difficulties are about them. Therefore, a therapist may be the best person for you to talk with. We offer a non-judgemental, confidential, professional and inclusive service. Therapists are trained to listen carefully to you and look for the best way forward or to help you explore difficult experiences and feelings. Therapy can also help you find your strengths and build on them so better choices can be made in the future.
