Hertforshire young people 11-18yrs

Who is our young people service for?

Therapy is available for young people aged 11 years up to and including 18 years for up to one year. We offer therapy on issues such as parental separation/divorce, relationships, anxiety, sadness, self-esteem, self-confidence, bullying, school, sexuality, work issues, eating disorders, self-harm, abuse, loss and many other concerns that affect young people in today’s society.

What is therapy?

Sometimes talking to our friends or family is not enough, especially if some of our difficulties are about them. Therefore, a therapist may be the best person for you to talk with. We offer a non-judgemental, confidential, professional and inclusive service. Therapists are trained to listen carefully to you and look for the best way forward or to help you explore difficult experiences and feelings. Therapy can also help you find your strengths and build on them so better choices can be made in the future.
