Young People's Therapist

Rephael House is a mental health charity based in the busy North Finchley area with services in local schools, and outreach services in Hatfield and St. Albans. We are expanding and opportunities arise regularly.

We have a 3 new positions available in our Hatfield service for young people's therapists (11-18 years). The role will support 4 young people each week offering long-term support (Mondays and Tuesdays), and time limited sessions of 12 weeks (Wednesdays).

The service runs for 44 weeks per year, Rephael House provides suggested holidays.

We will provide you with a professional therapeutic space with all the resources needed at your fingertips.

Supervision (on a Monday from 6-8pm, or Tuesday from 7-9pm), and invaluable peer support, is provided at no additional cost to you, and is held, for your convenience, via Zoom.

We offer Clinical Team Meetings twice a month on Wednesday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am.

In addition to supervision and peers, our Clinical Managers have over 20 years of clinical experience.

We have a fully stocked library of additional reading material to keep your knowledge up to date.

Student Therapist for Children and Young People

Rephael House is a mental health charity based in the busy North Finchley area with services in local schools, and outreach services in Hatfield and St. Albans. We are expanding and opportunities arise regularly.

We have a 1 position available for a student therapist at our North Finchley centre on Wednesdays. Students would work with clients aged 4-18 years.

Potential candidates would need to be prepared to commit to a minimum of two years. They need to offer one day (after school hours only) for the clinical work (up to 4 hours).

There is also a requirement to attend a minimum of six clinical team meetings per year which runs on a Wednesday morning 9.30am-11.30am on a fortnightly basis.

We will provide you with a professional therapeutic space with all the resources needed at your fingertips.

Employed Therapist for Adults/Young People - Tuesdays

8.2 per week

Rephael House is a mental health charity based in the busy North Finchley area with services in local schools, and outreach services in Hatfield and St. Albans. We are expanding and opportunities arise regularly.

We have a new position available in our Finchley service for an employed therapist working with young people and adults. This role will be on a Tuesday day/evening and will support 7 young people/adults each week offering time long-term support.

Attendance will be required at our Clinical Team Meetings which are held twice a month on Wednesday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am.

Fortnightly supervision on a Monday evening or Wednesday morning (TBC), and invaluable peer support, is provided at no additional cost to you, and is held, for your convenience, via Zoom.

In addition to supervision and peers, our Clinical Managers have over 20 years of clinical experience.

Therapeutic Clinical Supervisor

Hours:

13 per month

Pay:

£45,000 to £50,000 pa pro rata - depending on experience

Location:

Zoom/North Finchley London

We are seeking a clinical supervisor to join our existing supervisor team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1,000 client hours as well as be an accredited therapist, or equivalent, and have received significant amount of personal therapy. We require an integrative approach, but a strong psychodynamic theoretical base is essential. We would like the supervisor to have an ability to work creatively and it is essential that you have experience in working with children and young people. The candidate will need to be rigorous but not rigid in their supervision style.  A trainee supervisor on a recognised training course would be considered.

To provide fortnightly group supervision, on Zoom, for the following groups:

• Monday 6-8pm

• Wednesdays 9.30-11.30am

Additional individual supervision to therapists: 2 hours per month.

Monthly management meeting – Wednesdays 11.45am-1pm (Zoom)

Attendance of 3 clinical team meetings per annum, two sessions to provide training to team – Wednesdays 9.30-11.30am.  

Rephael House has been established for 25 years. We provide therapeutic services to children and young people aged 4yrs – 25yrs, those that have experienced bereavement of any kind, women experiencing post or ante-natal emotional health issues and those affected by domestic abuse.

Alongside our long term inhouse services we also provide a short term (12wks) commissioned CAMHS service in Barnet and Hertfordshire. We also provide services in schools/colleges and other outreach centres.

We provide therapeutic support to over 100 clients per week, across all of our services.

The appointed Clinical Supervisor who will be part of the management team at Rephael House and work closely with the CEO and Clinical Services Manager.
