Costs and payment

Rephael House endeavours to provide affordable counselling to all those in need.

As a charity we do not receive statutory funding. All monies used to subsidise counselling appointments have been generated through charitable activities and services, fundraising efforts, grants received and the valuable monthly donations from our supporters and 'friends of' scheme.

Each session costs us £47.50 to run. This cost is the same regardless of whether appointments are attended or not. If unable to cover the full sessional cost, we ask service users to contribute as much as they can towards this amount. We are currently able to offer up to a 50% subsidy for all services other than general counselling which we have no funding for. Please be aware subsidies are dependent on the funding awarded.

In order to ensure the charities funds are being optimised we respectfully ask that those benefiting from a subsidised rate achieve the minimum of 90% attendance and notify your therapist if and when they are unable to attend. We will charge for the full cost of sessions unattended and not cancelled by clients in advance.

The sessions costs are:

Child Bereavement, Pregnancy Crisis and Domestic Abuse - £47.50 - Subsidies available.
Children and young people - £47.50 - Subsidies available.
If you believe you require a subsidised rate please ask for details when referring.

General Counselling - £47.50

Please note that these fees do not apply to the Hertfordshire or Barnet Outreach Young people's services as these are fully funded by CAMHS.
