Rephael House is an independent charity offering counselling, support and information. Our agency works with anyone living or working in North London, Middlesex, Harrow, Hertfordshire and other surrounding boroughs. We have been established for over 14 years and offer counselling and emotional support to people coming from a wide area of the South East including Barnet, New Barnet, Burnt Oak, Camden, Finchley, Enfield, Finsbury Park, Friern Barnet, Mill Hill, Muswell Hill, Potters Bar, Whetstone, Tottenham, Palmers Green, Wood Green, London Colney, Borehamwood, Edgware, Southgate, Stanmore, Stevenage, Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City.

 

Bereavement counselling

Bereavement counselling for pregnancy, baby and child loss, including abortion and termination of pregnancy for abnormality, stillbirth, neonatal death and the loss of an older or adult child in any circumstance.

 

Children and young people’s counselling

Counselling for anyone aged between 6 and 25 on any issue including bullying, family difficulties, school refusal, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harm, anger, sadness, lack of confidence and self esteem, work issues and relationship problems.

 

What we do

 

 

Counselling for postnatal depression and pregnancy issues

We provide counselling for women who are suffering postnatal depression or experiencing anxiety after becoming a parent. Counselling and support for women and couples facing an unexpected or difficult pregnancy and who are suffering anxiety and depression whilst pregnant.

 

Domestic violence counselling

Counselling for women and children of any age who have experienced domestic violence, including physical, emotional and sexual abuse and harassment.

 

Drop-in service

Mondays 2pm to 5pm. Half- hour counselling sessions can help with a specific issue and can give a ‘taster’ of counselling for those who want to find out if it is suitable for them.
