The pregnancy crisis service is for those of any age and offers pregnancy tests, advice, information and support to women, their partners and families who are facing an unexpected or difficult pregnancy. You may be feeling shocked and afraid because you didn’t expect to be pregnant, or you may have some issues or questions which you may need to talk about. We can give you advice and information on all pregnancy outcome options.
Unplanned
If you are facing an unplanned pregnancy the choice you have to make is not an easy one. You will probably feel confused and have mixed feelings about which choices to make. Whatever your situation we can give you time and space to make a decision. We will give you support for as long as you need it, in an unbiased, caring and confidential way.
Referrals
We can also refer you to other agencies such as The Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB) a Citizens Advice Bureau outreach worker is available for consultation. We also refer to Family Planning Advisory (FPA), General Practitioners (GPs), Adoption Services (AS) and GUM clinics as appropriate.
Appointments
To make an appointment either phone us on 020 8275 0029, or use the contacts page on this web site. Appointments vary according to room and advisor availability and client need. We see clients from 9 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. We also have an out of hours telephone answering service and all calls are returned as quickly as possible.
Costs
Our pregnancy crisis service is free but we do encourage contributions from clients.
