Royal Parks Half Marathon October 2011
We are very pleased to say that Duncan Frost and Amanda Miles ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon for us in October and both finished in record time. Between them they raised £1076.26 (including gift aid) for us and we are so grateful to both of them for the huge effort they put in to do this. We will use this money to keep our service going and particularly to help subsidise our discretionary fund.
Waitrose Community Fund
We are pleased to say that we are one of the charities chosen for Waitrose Barnet's Community Fund this December. If you shop at this store or don't mind taking a detour, please put your green coin in our slot. Last year we did very well through this store. Being represented at the store also means that we get better known by those who might use our services or know of someone who is in need of counselling here. We have had some representation at other Waitrose stores in the area this year, so thank you if you have filled in a form to nominate us. We could always do with more nominations for other stores so we are always grateful for extra coverage and support.
